Yup you heard right.. the FFXI wedding cake topper! I used porcelain clay to fashion all these doo-dads.
The moogle (the creature with wings, and satchel) was a blast to make!
The blue teleport crystal was hard to make. I had to stabilize it with a metal frame on the inside of it.
The worm to the right was hard to make. His tentacles kept wanting to fall off! If you look down the top of him he actually has a mouth on the inside.
The O-hat is one of those items in the game that every character had to have at 'end-level'. This item became epic as it took several other players and loads of time to gather all the ingredients to make the item that 'popped' the notorious monster that would 'maybe' drop the item!
In the middle I made the staves that Neal and I used in the game. I chose this over the traditional man and woman figures.
I love this! I am looking for a Final Fantasy topper for my wedding and it will be extremely hard to make considering I am not skilled with clay molding. I being dressed as Lulu and my fiance will be dressed as Vincent. Would you happen to have any ideas that could help me with my cake topper?
